I've taught in schools around the world for over 15 years, studying and implementing the proven methods that engage kids in deep learning.
And in every school, city, and country, it was the same story--children were losing their creative and curious spirit way too early.
The same thing happened to me.
I drew obsessively as a child, but unfortunately I let the world squash the creativity out of me, and I stopped drawing for 20 years.
When I finally rediscovered my own love of making art, I realized something... Art is the educational key to preserving the naturally curious and creative ways of children.
So I left the classroom with plans to do something about this outside the confines of the traditional school system.
