FAQ's
Will this actually teach my child how to draw better or is it just for fun?
After teaching over 170,000 students, we know how to make serious art skills fun.
Your child won’t just copy a character—they’ll learn how to think like an artist and feel proud of the progress they’re making.
What age group is this designed for?
Ages 7-14. If they're a talented 6 year old, they may be able to keep up too, but those those are the recommended ages.
How long is each class and what’s the format?
Each session runs about 1 hour and is taught live by a professional artist and instructor. Your child draws right along step-by-step in real time, can interact in the chat if they want to, and there's lots of room for creative freedom in every class too!
Does my child have to be on camera?
No camera required. Our weekly membership classes are in Zoom where kids can choose to be on camera if they like, but this free camp is live streamed with only one-way video in order to accommodate all of our campers.
What if my kid is shy or brand new to drawing?
Then this camp is a perfect place to start. It’s pressure-free and beginner-friendly.
What if my kid is an advanced artist?
We teach actual pro techniques used by real cartoonists and illustrators, so they'll get a lot out of it too.
The pacing may be a bit slow if they're older (15+) and very advanced, but because every class has lots of room for creative freedom, they'll be encouraged to apply their new techniques in even more incredible ways.
